You will support the sales team, interact with customers daily, and help maximise value through pricing, volume, product mix and marketing.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative and/or customer-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Proficient computing/keyboard skills and basic software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales tasks in line with plans and pricing.
• Maintain effective internal communications on market trends and customer issues.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time to satisfy clients.
• Manage client expectations and escalate concerns as needed.
• Understand production processes and relate them to product sales and value.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and build relationships.
• Initiate and nurture customer relationships for ongoing business.
• Contribute to CRM data quality and customer reporting.
• Build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Develop understanding of customers' business needs and challenges.
• Enter sales orders and maintain associated documentation.
• Process credits in accordance with procedures.
• Prepare and share sales/distribution related reports.

Description

Reporting to the Queensland Sales and Service Manager and based out of our Caboolture office; you will be a key member of the sales team this position contributes to the overall success of AKD by interacting with and accommodating customers' needs on a daily basis. The role acts as the frontline position fostering direct relationships between the customer and the company and supports the overall sales function and team. Through sound industry knowledge and research, the position aims to maximise business value through sales price, volume, product mix and marketing.

We believe the position will best suit someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. The team member will have strong organisational and communication skills to effectively support the sales team.

The successful candidate will have a team first approach and have good problem solving abilities and the ability to manage sales tasks autonomously, contributing to the overall sales team efficiency.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Execute sales in accordance with agreed sales plans and approved pricing
• Effective internal communications of market trends and customer's issues
• Work delivered accurately on time and in full, so client is satisfied
• Manage client expectations, escalating areas of concern
• Maintain thorough understanding of production process and how this relates to product sales, demands and value
• Regular customer contact
• Initiate, maintain and enhance customer relationships
• Customer Relationship Management Program - maintenance and contribution to

• Maintain and store all required sales/dispatch documentation for each transaction
