AEMO’s Internal Audit team seeks a motivated Internal Auditor to support risk-based audit programs across the organisation. You will conduct audits, develop testing strategies, document findings and influence improvements in controls and processes.

You will work with stakeholders to identify emerging risks, strengthen governance and support AEMO’s strategic objectives in a dynamic energy sector environment. This role offers hybrid work options and exposure to critical national infrastructure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, accounting, engineering or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP or equivalent are highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience in internal audit, risk assurance or governance in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, governance frameworks and control environments.

Responsabilidades

• Support development and delivery of risk-based internal audit program.
• Plan, execute and document engagements with governance, risk and controls in mind.
• Identify risks and control gaps; provide practical remediation recommendations.
• Leverage data analytics and insights to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Build solid stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement.
