Wise is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join our new IA team in Sydney. You will coordinate audits, supervise the team and drive governance, risk and internal control improvements in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Experience in assurance, risk or control roles and financial crime expertise is essential. This role offers opportunities to shape our audit methodologies while collaborating across global teams.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in assurance, risk or control roles, preferably in financial services.
• Experience with financial crime and regulatory frameworks like AUSTRAC, ASIC.
• Experience leading audits in multinational, cross-cultural settings.
• Strong stakeholder management and independent judgement.
• Experience with data-driven and technology-enabled assurance.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate internal audits and supervise team activities.
• Support development of continuous monitoring and automated audit routines.
• Assist with annual audit plan development, audit universe, risk assessment and budgeting processes.
• Build and support a strong, self-sufficient internal audit team.
• Monitor implementation of Internal Audit recommendations and measure improvements.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
• Travel to meet objectives as needed.
