Global Accounting in Dubbo, NSW, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our Public Practice team. The role focuses on tax work for individuals, trusts, and small to medium enterprises, with opportunities for progression and professional development.

You will contribute to financial statement preparation and tax compliance while collaborating with partners and supervising junior staff. Applicants should have 2+ years Australian Public Practice experience, preferably in taxation, and be

Qualifications

Two to three years of Australian Tax Returns experience in Public Accounting Practice is essential.
CAANZ/CPA/IPA designation completed or in progress.
Experience with MYOB AE/AO, MYOB Essentials/AccountRight, Xero or similar software is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and Word is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and Australian income tax returns for individuals and entities.
Assist with BAS/IAS and other tax compliance tasks.
Supervise junior accounting staff as needed and report to partners.
Develop internal procedures and strengthen internal controls.
