MW Recruitment is seeking an ambitious accounting professional to join a quality boutique firm on the Gold Coast. You will work on a broad client base from SMEs to high-net-worth individuals, with a strong emphasis on technical training and career development.

The role offers CA/CPA support, mentoring, weekly training sessions, and access to XERO/MYOB platforms, with stunning views and convenient underground parking. You will join a collaborative team that values merit and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree and CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards)
• Experience with Division 7A, CGT and FBT; some SMSF exposure
• Familiarity with XERO and MYOB
• 2–3+ years’ experience in an Australian accounting firm
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Passion for growing with the firm based on merit over time

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs on BGL
• Provide tax and accounting advice
• Calculate Division 7A, CGT and FBT
• Work on XERO / MYOB / Solution 6

Roles

• Tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF's on BGL
• Providing tax and accounting advice
• Calculation of Division 7A, CGT and FBT
• Working on XERO /MYOB/Solution 6

Ideal candidate

• An Accounting Degree and CA/CPA Qualifications or working towards
• Experience with Division 7A, CGT, FBT and some exposure to SMSF's ( not essential)
• Familiarity with XERO and MYOB
• 2 - 3 + years’ experience in an Australian Accounting Firm
• Excellent communication both written and verbally
• A passion for growing with the firm based on merit over time
