Job summary

MW Recruitment is assisting a boutique, tech-savvy firm in Canberra to recruit an experienced accountant with CA/CPA qualifications and 5+ years in Australian practice. You will provide tax compliance, assist with advisory services and virtual CFO offerings for SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, and large corporations, benefiting from hands-on training and a clear path to partnership.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• CA/CPA qualification or currently completing.
• Proven experience in an Australian accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance & assist with advisory services.
• Division 7A, CGT & FBT calculations.
• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, and large corporations.
• Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills.
• Help provide virtual CFO services including completing management accounting reports.
