Job summary

MW Recruitment is partnering with a boutique accounting practice on the Gold Coast that values culture and growth. This 2+ years public practice role provides exposure to a diverse client base while you develop under the hands-on guidance of the Director.

You will prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships, with mentoring to enhance your skillset and career trajectory within a supportive, forward-looking firm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Australian public practice experience in business services.
• Degree qualified, and studying CA/CPA or keen to start.
• Strong Xero experience; XPM and BGL 360 are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Wide and broad variety of client base, including large QBCC clients and business clients up to $30m in turnover.
• Work closely with the Director and Manager, with direct access to guidance and mentoring.

It is a 100% Xero practice running XPM, BGL 360 and Monday, and it is investing in AI to streamline processes and cut out the low-value work.
