Job summary

Tandem Partners is seeking an experienced Workplace Relations Manager on an interim basis in Melbourne. You will lead seven specialists across workplace relations, injury management and administration, handling complex employee matters and advising senior leaders.

You will report to the Chief People Officer and drive end-to-end employee matters, governance and compliance, with a fast-paced environment and potential extension beyond year-end.

Qualifications

• Extensive Workplace Relations and Employee Relations experience.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and workplace frameworks.
• Exposure to Injury Management and WorkCover processes.
• Experience leading teams and coaching others through complex matters.
• Calm, resilient and solutions-focused style.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters end-to-end.
• Escalation point for high-risk cases, investigations, misconduct, and terminations.
• Support resolution of case backlog and manage workload during year-end period.
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of workplace relations and injury management professionals.
• Oversee reporting, governance and compliance activities.
