Job summary

John Holland Group is seeking an experienced Interface Engineer for the Sydney Metro West Linewide project. You will join the Interface & Integration team to manage internal and external interfaces, ensuring alignment with systems, safety, engineering and integration requirements.

The role involves coordinating across design, construction, testing and commissioning teams, managing risks, maintaining interface documentation, and supporting design coordination meetings to deliver safe, timely

Qualifications

• Tertiary engineering qualification (Civil, Mechanical or related).
• Rail safeworking competencies (e.g., Rail Industry Worker).
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work across internal and external interfaces across the project, ensuring compliance with systems, safety, engineering, safety assurance and integration requirements.
• Coordinate between design, engineering, construction, testing and commissioning teams and external interfacing parties.
• Identify, manage and resolve interface risks and issues to minimise delays and disruptions.
• Develop and maintain interface registers and documentation for traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate with TSMO team to ensure designs and deliverables meet technical specs and operational requirements.
• Participate in design interface coordination meetings and workshops for alignment of objectives.
• Provide technical input to ensure interface activities are delivered safely, timely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes and project-specific requirements.
