Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to join the Interface & Integration team for the Sydney Metro West Linewide project in Sydney. The role involves coordinating internal and external interfaces, ensuring compliance with safety, engineering, and integration standards, and collaborating with design, construction, testing, and commissioning teams.

You will proactively identify interface risks and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver on project objectives

Qualifications

• Experience with internal and external technical and construction interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, construction methods, and rail standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a rail environment.

Responsibilities

• Working across internal and external technical and construction interfaces, ensuring compliance with systems, safety, engineering, safety assurance, and integration requirements.
• Coordinate between design, engineering, construction, testing and commissioning teams, external cross-package contractors, and other interfacing parties.
• Identify, manage, and resolve interface risks to minimise project delays and disruptions.
• Develop and maintain interface registers and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the TSMO team to ensure design and construction deliverables meet technical specifications and operational requirements.

Rail industry safeworking competencies (e.g., Rail Industry Worker)

Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent
