Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care invites expressions of interest for Personal Care Assistants (PCA) on permanent part-time and casual roles for our brand-new 89-bed aged care home in Wallan, opening 14 September 2026. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

You’ll join a compassionate, resident-centred team delivering high-quality daily care, documented records, and respectful engagement with residents, families and staff. Expressions of interest now open.

Qualifications

• Cert III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support (Ageing) is essential.
• Recent National Police Check within 12 months is essential.
• Genuine empathy and strong communication skills are required.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration are valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care and meaningful support to residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families and staff.
• Support residents’ individual needs with respect and dignity.
• Maintain privacy and handle feedback sensitively.
• Work flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights.
• Be available for weekend and weekday shifts (permanent part-time).

As a PCA, you’ll deliver daily personal care and meaningful support that truly reflects each resident’s individuality. You’ll play a key role in bringing this person‑centred approach to life.
