Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a Recovery Case Worker in Inner West Sydney. You will deliver intensive psychosocial recovery support to people with severe mental health challenges in community and home settings, helping them achieve independence and better tenancy outcomes.

You will develop recovery plans, coordinate services, and build trusting relationships, while navigating complex needs and ensuring safety and compliance in a trauma-informed approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification in Community Services, Mental Health or related field.
• Experience with complex mental health needs and psychosocial recovery.
• Ability to work in trauma-informed, person-centred ways.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive psychosocial recovery support to individuals with complex needs.
• Develop and review recovery plans, risk assessments and support strategies.
• Assist with daily living, community access and independence goals.
• Maintain outreach contact and document case notes regularly.
• Coordinate with internal and external services to connect supports.
