Job summary

MA MISSION AUSTRALIA is seeking a dedicated Recovery Case Worker to join our Community Living Support (CLS) team in Goulburn. You will provide psychosocial recovery-focused support to people living with severe mental illness, helping them build independence and achieve personal goals within their communities.

You will mentor participants using a strengths-based approach, coordinate care with families, clinicians, and local services, and promote social inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mental Health, Mental Health Peer Work, Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (or working towards).
• Experience supporting people living with severe and persistent mental illness.
• Sound understanding of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with participants.
• Deliver recovery-focused psychosocial support tailored to individual goals.
• Facilitate planning sessions and develop individual support plans.
• Provide case management and care coordination across services.
• Support independent living skills and access to community resources.
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation.
• Advocate for participant choice and inclusion.
