Job summary

OCRT Consulting, a sovereign and veteran-owned SME, seeks an Integration Architect to lead architecture for a Defence capability program in Canberra. You will design complex, multi-class technology solutions and align them with capability roadmaps, engaging diverse stakeholders across Defence and NIC.

In this role you will develop integration designs, participate in governance forums, and ensure secure, deliverable outcomes through governance processes.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Demonstrated architecture experience in Defence/NIC.
• Experience developing capability/solution roadmaps and convergence pathways.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture and design for complex, multi-class technology solutions.
• Develop capability and solution roadmaps, including convergence pathways.
• Evaluate solution options and manage trade-offs across risk, security and delivery constraints.
• Lead development of integration and technical design documentation.

The opportunity

We're seeking applications from Integration Architects to support a Defence capability program in Canberra. You will lead the architecture and design of complex, multi-class technology solutions, connecting integration design integrity to broader capability and solution roadmaps; working across technical and non-technical stakeholders to shape how these systems converge and integrate.

What you'll do

• Develop architecture and design for complex, multi-class technology solutions
• Develop capability and solution roadmaps, including convergence pathways
• Evaluate solution options and manage trade-offs across technical risk, security and delivery constraints
• Lead development of integration and technical design documentation
• Participate in design reviews, technical working groups and architecture governance forums
• Engage stakeholders across Defence/NIC, communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support delivery outcomes through structured architecture governance and assurance

What we're looking for
