Job summary

Informatech Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced enterprise architect to support a Defence client. You will mature the department's enterprise architecture capability and strengthen decision-making, technical alignment, and governance across enterprise, cyber and technical domains.

The role offers contract or permanent engagement with competitive salary and benefits for permanent staff, and opportunities to work across high-impact projects and client sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Orbus iServer, ArchiMate, Microsoft Visio and TOGAF.
• Knowledge of federal government architectural standards and strategies.
• Experience in Architecture Domains such as Security Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategies into operating models and capability roadmaps.
• Assess current-state capabilities and identify gaps relative to future-state requirements.
• Create, iterate, and maintain architectural models, views, and artefacts.
• Contribute to High Level Designs and Detailed Designs, System Security Plans, and transition and support documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains to elicit requirements, validate designs, and communicate progress.
• Ensure designs are aligned to architectural standards and strategy, and contribute to governance and approval bodies.
• Identify opportunities for cloud-based services and assess alignment with the department's strategic technology direction.

Role overview:

We are supporting a Defence client with architectural services spanning enterprise, business, cyber and technical domains. You will help mature the department's enterprise architecture capability and strengthen decision-making and technical alignment across the department.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for:

• Translating business strategies and objectives into operating models and capability roadmaps
• Assessing current-state capabilities and identifying gaps relative to future-state requirements
• Creating, iterating, and maintaining architectural models, views, and artefacts
• Contributing to High Level Designs and Detailed Designs, System Security Plans, and transition and support documentation
• Engaging with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains to elicit requirements, validate designs, and communicate progress
• Ensuring designs are aligned to architectural standards and strategy, and contributing to architectural governance and approval bodies
• Identifying opportunities for cloud-based services and assessing alignment with the department's strategic technology direction

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in:

• Hands on experience with Orbus iServer, ArchiMate, Microsoft Visio, and TOGAF
• Working knowledge of federal government architectural standards and strategies
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following Architecture Domains:
• Security Architecture
