Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest packaging companies in Australia as we are currently looking for an experienced Integration and Project Delivery Manager to join the Opal packaging team.

Reporting to the Chief Executive - Packaging, the role translates agreed business priorities into practical delivery plans, coordinates operational and functional teams, resolves implementation barriers and drives accountable delivery of milestones and measurable business benefits.

Playing a critical role in our transition to a regional operating model, this role will contribute to the success of Opal by:

• Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, driving and managing change throughout the packaging business
• Lead assigned integration activities across business units, functions and sites, including operating structures, processes, systems, service arrangements and ways of working.
• Develop and execute integration plans covering workstream sequencing, resource requirements, dependencies, transition risks and operational readiness.
• Establish practical project briefs, schedules, milestones, workstream owners, budgets and acceptance criteria aligned to the business’ priorities
• Ensuring that plans are delivered on-time and within budget, ensuring solutions are practical and sustainable
• Bring together multiple areas of the business & create lasting change
• Track costs and benefits against the approved business case, distinguishing implemented changes, realised outcomes and remaining opportunities
• Use operational and financial analysis to identify delivery gaps and recommend corrective action

We would expect the successful candidate to possess:

• Proven delivery of complex change involving multiple sites, business units or functions in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or a comparable industrial environment
• Significant experience in project delivery, integration, operational improvement or business transformation, with demonstrated responsibility for implementation outcomes
• Sound operational understanding and commercial judgement, including business cases, project costs and benefits tracking
• Clear communication, analytical problem solving and concise executive reporting
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and project planning and reporting tools
