Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking an Integrated Water Planner for GEMCO in the Northern Territory.

The role owns GEMCO's water balance and planning processes, delivering forecasts and insights to support water security, risk management and business planning. You will develop short- to long‑term forecasts, assess inventory and discharge opportunities, and contribute to future infrastructure planning while maintaining planning models and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Hydrogeology or a related discipline.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop short, medium and long-term water forecasts and planning scenarios.
• Assess water inventory, storage capacity, discharge opportunities and wet season risks.
• Evaluate water system performance and provide input into future infrastructure needs.
• Maintain accurate planning models, datasets, dashboards and performance reporting.
