Job summary

Veolia Australia seeks a permanent, full-time professional to drive continuous improvement and compliance of the Integrated Business Management System (BMS). The role focuses on simplifying, standardising, and verifying SHEQ processes to meet ISO standards.

You will operate as an individual contributor across the business to maintain effective management systems and ensure regulatory alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality or safety management with Integrated Management Systems and certification management.
• Experience designing and reviewing Integrated Business Management Systems and tools.
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Strong compliance knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Developing, improving, and simplifying the Integrated Business Management System (BMS) across all operations with ISO compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and support external certification audits.
• Review SHEQ processes and update documentation for regulatory changes.
• Manage document governance to ensure fit-for-purpose documents within the BMS.
• Communicate regulatory changes to relevant teams and support Health, Safety, and Environmental teams.
• Prepare and review SHEQ reporting data with stakeholders to drive performance improvements.
• Provide tender and contract support as required.
