Job summary

LiveHire Limited is seeking an ILS Manager to lead logistics support and sustainment planning across the capability lifecycle. The role focuses on Integrated Logistics Support with a smaller project management support component.

The successful candidate will coordinate ILS activities, develop and maintain strategies and governance artefacts, and collaborate with Defence, industry and international stakeholders to ensure seamless capability acceptance and ongoing sustainment.

Qualifications

• Defence ILS, logistics or sustainment management experience.
• Experience developing Defence logistics artefacts and supportability products.
• Understanding Defence acquisition, sustainment and transition-to-service processes.
• Experience supporting capability acquisition or introduction into service programs.
• Strong governance, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate ILS activities, including logistics requirements, supportability planning and sustainment readiness.
• Develop and maintain ILS strategies, plans, reports, documentation and governance artefacts.
• Work with Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, Technical Certification and Design Acceptance teams to support capability acceptance.
• Identify logistics risks and sustainment needs, monitor support performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Support transition-to-service planning, asset transition and sustainment governance.
• Build effective relationships with Defence, industry and international stakeholders.
• Assist with project schedules, governance briefs, status reports and risk, issue and decision registers.
