Job summary

Lion Pty Ltd is seeking an Integrated Demand Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract based at our York Street office in Sydney. You’ll connect Sales and Supply to build an accurate demand view and collaborate across the business to align forecasts with market needs.

You will own the 12-month plan, apply data-driven insights, and drive improvements in planning processes and inventory optimisation. A degree in a related field and experience in demand planning are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or Supply Chain.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the 12‑month demand plan across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Lead scenario planning and strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Drive S&OP / ITP processes, manage risks, and collaborate with customers to improve forecasts.
• Partner across functions to align demand with business goals.
• Continuously improve tools, processes and ways of working in the supply chain.

Here at LION, we’re looking for an Integrated Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team on a 12-month fixed-term contract , based at our York Street office in Sydney.

Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning and joining a team of five, you’ll play a key role in connecting Sales and Supply to build an accurate, aligned view of demand across the Australian market. You’ll combine data, commercial insight and strong cross-functional partnerships to improve forecasting, optimise inventory and support better business decisions.

What you’ll do:

• Build and own the 12‑month demand plan, blending data, market insights, and customer intelligence
• Partner across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align demand with big‑picture business goals
• Lead scenario planning and strategies to enhance productivity, boost efficiency, and delight customers
• Drive the S&OP / ITP process, manage risks, and collaborate directly with customers to enrich forecasts
• Challenge the status quo — improving tools, processes, and ways of working for a stronger, smarter supply chain

What you’ll bring:

• A degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or Supply Chain (FMCG &/or Customer experience a bonus!)
• Sharp analytical skills, strong stakeholder management, and a knack for making complex data actionable
• Experience with SAP IBP/APO
• Big-picture thinking with an eye for detail — and a passion for making an impact
