Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of demand forecasts using sales data, market insights and SAP.
  • Analyse sales trends and demand patterns to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Production to support planning.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify stock risks or optimisation opportunities.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly S&OP processes, reporting and performance tracking.
  • Prepare reports on forecast performance, KPIs and demand trends.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning effectiveness.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Demand Planner to support the development of demand forecasts, inventory management activities, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Supply Chain Planning. You will work closely with experienced planners and cross-functional teams to analyse sales and market data, support forecasting activities, and contribute to business decision-making through reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of demand forecasts using sales data, market insights, and SAP.
  • Analyse sales trends and demand patterns to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support planning activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock risks or optimisation opportunities.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly S&OP processes, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Prepare reports on forecast performance, KPIs, and demand trends.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning effectiveness and forecasting accuracy.
About You
  • Recent graduate or early-career professional in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Some exposure to supply chain, planning, manufacturing, operations, or data analysis through employment, internships, university projects, or placements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Supply Chain Planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous but not essential.
