Job description

Shadforth is a leading civil construction company with more than 60 years of experience. Still proudly family-owned, we've grown into one of Queensland's leading civil contractors while staying true to our people-first values.

We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Insurance and Warranty Coordinator to join our team at Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast.

About the Role

You'll coordinate insurance and warranty claims across our vehicle and heavy plant fleet, ensuring claims are processed efficiently, documentation is accurate and matters are followed through to completion.

This is a office-based role within our busy workshop environment, working alongside the teams who maintain and operate our fleet. You'll enjoy a practical, down-to-earth workplace with plenty of variety.

This is a full-time, 38-hour per week position with flexibile office hours and no regular overtime required.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate insurance and warranty claims from lodgement through to finalisation.
  • Liaise with insurers, brokers, assessors, dealerships, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Gather and review repair quotes, job cards, invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Track claim progress, approvals, payments and outstanding matters.
  • Maintain accurate claims registers, records and reports.
  • Work with workshop and finance teams to reconcile claims, payments and warranty credits.
  • Follow up outstanding claims and assist with improving administrative processes.
About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy workshop environment.

Ideally, you'll have:
  • Experience in warranty administration, insurance claims, dealership service administration or a similar role.
  • An understanding of insurance and/or warranty processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A practical approach to problem-solving and managing competing priorities.
  • Candidates must hold a current Australian Manual Drivers licence.

Experience with trucks, heavy plant or construction equipment will be highly regarded, although candidates with transferable automotive or dealership experience are encouraged to apply.

Why Shadforth?

At Shadforth, we believe our people are our greatest asset. We offer a supportive, down-to-earth working environment where your contribution is valued and you're encouraged to grow.

You'll enjoy:
  • A permanent, full-time position with a well-established, family-owned business.
  • Standard office hours, working 38 hours per week with no regular overtime requirements.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • A diverse role with plenty of variety and responsibility.
  • Career development and opportunities to grow within the business.
  • Access to our onsite gym, personal training sessions and wellbeing initiatives.
  • The opportunity to be part of a growing business with a strong reputation across Queensland.

Shadforth is one of Queensland's largest family-owned civil construction companies, originating on the Sunshine Coast over 60 years ago. We have a strong presence across Queensland and Northern New South Wales, where we have developed an outstanding reputation working across residential and commercial subdivisions and major civil infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges.
