Job summary

Shadforths Civil Contractors on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an IT Support Champion to join our IT Team. You will help maintain the internal helpdesk, support users across more than 60 sites in SE Queensland and Northern NSW, and assist with devices and software provisioning.

No deep experience required; an IT qualification is advantageous. You will develop your technical skills, work across Windows, Microsoft 365, and VPN, and travel to sites when needed while delivering friendly, patient

Qualifications

• Some IT support or helpdesk experience is desirable, introductory candidates are welcome.
• An IT qualification or relevant studies would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Exposure to Active Directory, networking, DHCP, DNS or VPNs is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn across desktop, mobile, network and user support.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to assist users of varying technical levels.
• Reliable, organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to sites when required.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki, computer SOEs, Apple DEP/VPP or MDM platforms is highly regarded but not essential.

• Troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues and escalating where required.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about IT, enjoys problem-solving and is keen to continue developing their technical skills.

• Some experience or exposure to IT support, helpdesk or desktop support is desirable; however, we’re open to candidates at the beginning of their IT career
• An IT qualification, relevant studies or practical IT experience would be advantageous
• A good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
• Exposure to Active Directory, networking, DHCP, DNS or VPNs would be beneficial, but isn’t essential
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills across desktop, mobile, network and user support
