Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking an Insurance Consultant for Branch Support, based in Bendigo or Melbourne, VIC. This role focuses on delivering insurance and related banking products with strong customer service, working across inbound inquiries and proactive outreach to support campaigns.

You will join a hybrid work environment with office and work-from-home options, and hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring compliant, customer-centric advice and referrals across the bank's product

Qualifications

Experience delivering insurance or banking products to customers via face-to-face or phone.
Proven experience in ethical and compliant sales or retention performance.
Positive mindset with a proactive approach to learning and a flexible attitude toward change.
Excellent written and verbal communication with a confident, professional phone manner.
Ability to work in a high-performing, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end management of customer insurance policies, identify opportunities to retain customers and refer to wider Bendigo Bank products.
Deliver timely information and support on insurance products, aiming for sales outcomes while prioritising customer experience.
Foster collaboration and put the customer first across people, process, sales, credit, stakeholder management and compliance.
