Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking an Insurance Consultant - Branch Support in Bendigo or Melbourne, VIC. The role centers on delivering insurance guidance to Retail Banking customers by phone, with a hybrid work model that balances office and work-from-home arrangements.

You will support end-to-end customer insurance policies, promote ethical sales, and collaborate with the insurance partner IAG/CGU to ensure accurate advice and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering insurance or banking products to customers by face-to-face or phone.
• Proven experience in ethical and compliant sales or retention performance.
• Positive mindset with proactive learning and a flexible attitude toward change.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end management of customer insurance policies, identify opportunities to retain existing customers, and refer customers to the wider range of Bendigo Bank products.
• Deliver timely and up-to-date information and support on insurance products, aiming for sales outcomes while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Foster collaboration and keep customer first across people, process, sales, credit, stakeholder management and compliance.
