Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and the community.
• Commitment to professional learning and adherence to department values.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
