Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy teaching.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies aligned with how students learn.
• Experience monitoring, assessing and using data to inform teaching practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice to improve teaching quality.
• Ability to plan and teach a primary music program.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals and delivery of primary programs.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake classroom and administrative duties as required by leadership.
• Engage with parents, staff and the school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Provide supervision and support for student teachers and staff professional learning.
