Job summary

Tarneit Rise Primary School in Melbourne is recruiting a Learning Specialist: Instructional Leader - Wellbeing and Inclusion to drive high-quality wellbeing and inclusive practices. The role promotes evidence-based teaching, modelling lessons and supporting staff through coaching and professional learning.

You will lead MTSS implementation, analyse cohort data to inform interventions and collaborate with W&I teams to enhance student engagement, safety, and wellbeing across Prep–Year 6.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to model exemplary teaching practices across literacy and numeracy.
• Expertise in high-impact teaching strategies to support diverse student needs and measure learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to inform teaching practice and communicate progress to students and parents.
• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, families and the school community to support wellbeing and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead modelling of exemplary wellbeing and inclusion practices across the school.
• Provide professional learning and coaching to embed evidence-based wellbeing and inclusive practices.
• Lead data analysis of wellbeing, inclusion and engagement to inform teaching and targeted interventions.
• Drive whole-school wellbeing and inclusion priorities, including MTSS aligned with strategic direction.
• Collaborate with Wellbeing & Inclusion leadership to analyse trends and develop implementation plans.
• Perform any other duties as determined by the principal.
