Job summary

Security Doors & Screens is seeking a skilled Technician to join our expert installation team as a full-time installer of aluminium security doors, screens and related products. All fabrication is in-house and distributed to sites daily.

You will measure, fit and install on commercial and residential projects, bringing practical tools, and learning our workmanship standards. Training and ongoing support are provided to develop your skills and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience measuring and installing aluminium security doors and screens.
• Factory/manufacturing experience in aluminium doors and screens welcome.
• Willingness to learn and develop measuring and installation skills.
• Must hold a current driver’s license.
• Reliable, motivated, punctual and professional on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Measure on-site to ensure proper fit.

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled technician to join our team as a fulltime permanent employee. You will be part of ourexpert installation team fitting aluminium security doors, screens & related products. All products are fabricated in-house at Yarrabilba where they are prepared for pick-up by installers on a daily basis.

About You

We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our team as a Security Door & Screen Installer.

Ideally, you will already have experience measuring and installing aluminium security doors and screens. However, we are also interested in hearing from candidates with factory or manufacturing experience in aluminium doors and screens who are ready to take the next step into an installation role.

For the right person with strong factory experience and a willingness to learn, full training and support will be provided to develop your measuring and installation skills.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience measuring and installing aluminium security doors and screens or relevant factory/manufacturing experience within a similar industry.
• Be mechanically minded, practical and confident using tools.
• Have good problem-solving skills and be able to think on your feet when working on site.
• Be organised and able to work efficiently to a daily schedule.
• Take pride in the quality of your workmanship and delivering a great result for customers.
• Be punctual, reliable, tidy, courteous and professional when working in customers' homes.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Hold a current driver’s licence with a good driving record.
• Be willing to learn and develop your skills.
