Job summary

GPW Security Screens and Doors, a well-established local family-owned manufacturer and installer in the Newcastle–Maitland area, is seeking a full-time security door installer/manufacturer. You will install and fabricate security doors and window grilles, including Crimsafe products, at customer sites and in-house as required.

We value a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail and reliable, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous; on-the-job training provided.
• Must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Must be able to undertake a National Police Check for Security Licence eligibility.
• Strong work ethic with on-site problem solving and ownership of tasks.
• Flexible attitude with excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a small team.
• Enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install and service security doors and related products at customers' homes, solo or in a team.
• Attend warranty calls and address customer concerns.
• Be punctual, trustworthy and accommodate customer needs.

GPW Security Screens and Doors is a well-established company that has operated for over 20 years. We are a local family owned manufacturer and installer of security doors and window grilles, and we specialise in Crimsafe products.

In order to keep up with the demand of our ever growing customer base we require a very motivated and self-driven person that thrives on quality and service, with the art of getting things doneon time.

We service the Newcastle, Maitland, Central Coast & Port Stephens.

We are seeking a full-time security door installer/Manufacturer to join our team for the installation and making of security doors and window grilles including our Crimsafe products.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in a similar role is a great advantage although on the job training will be provided to the right candidate
• A current Australian Driver's Licence
• Must be able to undertake a National Police Check to obtain a Security Licence
• Strong work ethic and an onsite problem solver
• A can-do attitude and flexible approach
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to take ownership of work
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work on your own as well as in a team environment
• Enthusiastic in providing excellent customer service

Tasks & responsibilities

• Install and service products in customers' homes independently or in a team
• Where necessary attend warranty call outs and rectify concerns of customers
• Be accommodating to customer needs and above all, be punctual and trustworthy.
