You will read plans, measure accurately, apply weatherproofing, use hand and power tools safely, and conduct quality checks to ensure project standards are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Window & Door Installer or similar in building trades.
• Sound knowledge of window/door installation techniques and materials.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality installations to our clients. As a Window & Door Installer, you will be responsible for the precise installation, fitting, and finishing of windows and doors across various residential sites. This role is fundamental to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction on every job we undertake.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install windows and doors to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
• Prepare installation sites by removing old windows and doors, making good the surrounding area, and preparing surfaces for new installations
• Apply weatherproofing sealants, insulation, and finishing materials to ensure optimal performance and durability
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and competently, maintaining equipment in good working order
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
• Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure they meet project standards and client expectations
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines whilst maintaining the highest standards of workmanship
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients throughout the installation process
• Handle and dispose of waste materials responsibly
