Job summary

Zip Water is seeking a hands-on Installation Technician Plumber to service Brisbane's northside, installing and maintaining Zip Water systems on customer sites. You will work independently, manage your schedule, and ensure safe, high-quality field service delivery.

This role offers full vehicle tooling, 4–6 weeks training, and a supportive team environment within the Culligan Zip Water group, focusing on reliable problem solving, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plumber Technician in field service or maintenance.
• Current Plumbing Licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility for Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical servicing, repairs and maintenance on Zip Water systems in line with technical and safety standards.
• Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently in the field.
• Communicating directly with customers, providing updates and delivering a professional service experience.
• Managing your own schedule and workflow to ensure timely and cost‑effective job completion.
• Maintaining accurate service records, job notes and customer interactions.
• Ensuring your service vehicle is fully stocked, compliant and ready for daily field operations.
• Supporting a high standard of safety, compliance and workmanship across all jobs.

About the role:

We’re looking for a motivated Installation Technician Plumber to join our team, servicing Brisbane’s northside, where you will provide in-field service work on our boiling and chilled water units.

You’ll be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of Zip Water systems across customer sites. In this hands‑on field‑based role, you’ll work independently, manage your workload, and ensure systems operate efficiently while delivering safe, reliable, and high‑quality service to customers.

• Experience as an Plumber Technician in a field service or maintenance role.
• Current Plumbing Licence.

• Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, can‑do attitude.
• High attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time.
• Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for Security Clearance.
