Job summary

Loreto Toorak invites applications for an experienced VCE Mathematics Teacher to join our school community. The role is full-time and ongoing, commencing Term 1, 2027, reporting to the Head of Faculty.

The successful candidate will teach Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods, and other Mathematics classes across year levels. We seek an innovative educator with a passion for student learning, strong communication with students, staff and families, and a collaborative approach to curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
• Experience teaching VCE Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods is essential.
• Experience teaching Units 3 & 4 Specialist Mathematics is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach VCE Units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods and other Mathematics classes across year levels.
• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning that builds problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum and monitor student progress.
