Y Schools Queensland Ipswich Campus is seeking a passionate Teacher on a Permanent Full-Time basis to join our team in Ipswich. You will deliver engaging academic and wellbeing programs, support vocational training, and help lead a nurturing, student‑centred campus.

You will hold a relevant University degree and QCT registration, with First Aid and CPR qualifications, and you will apply inclusive teaching practices, using learning technologies to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

• First Aid and CPR qualifications
• Ability to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs for diverse learners
• Inclusive teaching practices and use of learning technologies
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Responsibilities

• Delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students.
• Support the delivery of vocational training programs offered to students; and
• Support the Head of Campus/School in the operation of the campus to achieve educational, wellbeing and vocational objectives.
• Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment which is learner focused, safe, supportive and aligned to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with like-minded peers to plan, write and deliver structured lessons that differentiate and personalise the learning for each student.
• Assess and provide meaningful and supportive feedback and report on student learning.
• Supporting young people with diverse learning and support needs, including disabilities, behavioural challenges, ASD, ADHD/ADD, and mental health needs
