• Hold a relevant University degree and current Queensland College of Teachers Registration.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications.
• Plan and prepare teaching and learning programs to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Implement inclusive teaching practices and use learning technologies to support learning.
• Communicate effectively with students and apply behavior management strategies to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver academic and wellbeing programs to students.
• Support the delivery of vocational training programs offered to students.
• Assist the Head of Campus/School in campus operations to achieve educational, wellbeing and vocational objectives.
• Create a nurturing and student-centred learning environment aligned to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with peers to plan, write and deliver structured lessons that differentiate for each student.
• Assess and provide meaningful feedback and report on student learning.
• Support young people with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, ASD, ADHD/ADD and mental health needs.
• Support students to know success.

What will my time look like?

• Delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students.
• Support the delivery of vocational training programs offered to students; and
• Support the Head of Campus/School in the operation of the campus to achieve educational, wellbeing and vocational objectives.
• Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment which is learner focused, safe, supportive and aligned to the curriculum.

Am I a good match?

• Communicate effectively with students using strong interpersonal skills and implement behaviour management strategies that support a positive and inclusive learning environment.
