Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is seeking a passionate Secondary Music Teacher for a temporary 0.4FTE job share position until the end of 2026, with potential to continue into 2027. Additional casual teaching work may also be available for applicants seeking extra days.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and ability to teach Music in a secondary school in accordance with NSW NESA requirements.
• Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.
• Eligibility to teach according to NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Relevant tertiary qualification (new grads encouraged to apply).

Responsabilités

• Structure lessons to meet the physical, social, and intellectual development of students.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment.
• Adhere to the assessment schedule and maintain records of student achievement.
• Provide extensive pedagogical knowledge and enhance the learning and teaching of the subject matter.
• Work creatively and constructively within various school communities.
• Set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students.
