Job summary

Catherine McAuley Catholic College, Medowie is seeking a Temporary Full-Time HSIE Teacher to join the team from January 2027 to December 2027 for a maternity leave vacancy. A willingness to teach Religious Studies is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Clear understanding of and commitment to Catholic Education and supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Ability to plan and prepare contemporary and compliant teaching programs and assessments.
• Ability to use assessment data to optimise outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and the community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective HSIE teaching within Years 7–12.
• Deliver quality teaching programs in line with Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Support student learning through differentiated instruction and data-informed practice.
