Georges River Council is seeking a Library Officer – Children & Youth to deliver engaging programs and experiences for children, young people and families across Georges River libraries. You will work with schools, preschools and community groups to promote literacy, creativity and lifelong learning.

The role is based at Clive James Library, Kogarah, with flexibility to work across Georges River Libraries. Permanent full-time position with 70 hours per fortnight and a salary from 78,552.73 to

Mansioni

• Undertake rostered duties at all Georges River Libraries to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver and promote library services that support literacy and lifelong learning.
• Assist in planning, development, and delivery of library programs for children and young people.
• Promote children’s and youth services via publications, digital channels and community engagement.
• Deliver outreach activities that connect families with library services and programs.
• Facilitate school visits, library tours and intro sessions for schools and groups.
• Provide excellent customer service across all service points.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain safe, welcoming library environments.
• Assist with collection and reporting of program data for continuous improvement.
