Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum and the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student learning growth.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to continually improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas or programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by leadership.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
