Job summary

Genius People in Melbourne is recruiting Insolvency Supervisors to lead and coordinate day-to-day corporate insolvency appointments for clients within leading advisory firms. The role involves oversight of investigations, financial analysis, creditor reporting, budgets, and deadlines, with responsibility for directing Analysts and junior team members.

The successful candidate will bring a solid corporate insolvency background, proven report writing, and the ability to organize and review work.

Qualifications

• You will have a solid corporate insolvency background within an accounting or advisory firm and experience taking ownership of substantial parts of an appointment.
• CA, CPA or ARITA qualifications and study progress will be considered against the requirements of each opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the day to day delivery of corporate insolvency appointments.
• Overseeing investigations, financial analysis, creditor reporting and statutory requirements.
• Allocating work and reviewing the output of Analysts and junior team members.
• Monitoring budgets, deadlines and outstanding matters across files.
• Managing communication with directors, creditors and professional advisers.
• Identifying issues requiring Manager or Partner input and supporting their resolution.
• Assisting with trading appointments and related reporting where relevant.
