Private Advertiser in Sydney is seeking an Insolvency & Restructuring Manager to own corporate engagements from strategy to completion. You will coordinate workstreams, lead teams and guide businesses through financial challenges.

The role offers a $120k–$150k package with superannuation, optional hybrid working, and formal training to develop technical expertise. You will engage with clients, creditors and advisers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing corporate insolvency and restructuring cases in professional services.
• CA or equivalent international qualification and relevant tertiary degree.
• Strong financial analysis, modelling and commercial judgement.
• Clear stakeholder communication with a client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement restructuring and insolvency strategies with clients.
• Manage administrations and liquidations, including asset realisations and receipts and payments.
• Analyse financial performance and model outcomes for reviews and turnarounds.
• Prepare reports and communicate with clients, creditors and legal advisers.
• Lead engagement teams, coordinate workstreams and mentor juniors.
• Support business development initiatives.

The role

You will take ownership of client engagements from strategy through to completion, coordinating workstreams, leading teams and helping businesses navigate financial challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement restructuring and insolvency strategies alongside clients
• Manage administrations and liquidations, including trade-ons, asset realisations and receipts and paymentsAnalyse financial performance and model potential outcomes, supporting business reviews and turnaround assignments
• Prepare reports and manage communications with clients, creditors and legal advisers
• Lead engagement teams, coordinate workstreams and mentor junior colleagues
• Build professional relationships and contribute to business development initiatives

About you
