Job summary

A specialist insolvency practice is seeking an Insolvency Assistant Manager for their Brighton office. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of primarily Creditor’s and Members’ Voluntary Liquidations, liaising with stakeholders from inception to closure. The ideal candidate will have experience with solvent insolvency cases and may hold a CPI/ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency. The practice promotes employee development through structured training tailored to individual strengths.

Qualifications

• Experience working on solvent insolvency cases.
• CPI/ICAEW Certificate in Insolvency qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of primarily Creditor’s Voluntary Liquidations and Members’ Voluntary Liquidations.
• Liaise with the stakeholders and the IP from inception through to closure of the case.
• Prepare all required documentation for the case.
• Liaise with internal specialist departments as required.
• Delegate workload to junior team members.
• Carry out ad hoc training and development of less experienced and new members of staff.
• Complete and analyse appointment documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines.
• Liaise and negotiate with agents, solicitors and banks.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
