Job summary

World Courier Australia is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to generate and grow sales across Australia & New Zealand, driving revenue and profitability for the organization. You will build new business and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, while delivering solutions in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires strong sales experience in freight forwarding or science/lab sectors, solid MS Office skills, and the ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience meeting key performance indicators.

• High level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Prior experience in a Sales role preferred.

• Great phone manner and proactive attitude towards role.
• Sound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.

About the Job

Under direction of the Inside Sales Team Leader, Australia & New Zealand, the inside sales associate role is responsible for generating, growing and maximizing World Courier’s business opportunities and sales to drive the overall sales revenue and profitability of the organization.

Key objectives include to;

Develop new and sustainable business within designated portfolio areas to ensure the achievement of individual key performance indicators and overall success of the organization.

Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for partnership growth to increase the profitability and return on investment in each relationship.

Represent World Courier in a professional manner that builds upon the already robust reputation of the organization.

Actively engaging with new and existing business opportunities, delivering solutions.
