Job summary

SA Health is seeking multiple Registered Nurses to join the General Medical wards at Modbury Hospital on a full-time, ongoing basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care across varied clinical environments within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Eligibility includes registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility to practice. Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, are required.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Registered Nurse within the Division of Medicine.

Your Role Across General Medical

Working across Modbury Hospital's General Medical wards, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for general medical patients across multiple ward environments
• Administering medications and clinical interventions in accordance with NALHN policy and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards
• Supporting patient flow, discharge planning, and coordination with allied health and medical staff
• Contributing to ward-level quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in an acute general medical or similar inpatient setting
• Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills appropriate to a busy metropolitan hospital
• Effective communication and handover practice within multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and patient safety frameworks
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, across Modbury Hospital's General Medical wards

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
