Job summary

Plum Creek Recovery Ranch is seeking an attentive Recovery Support Staff to assist clients in recovery from alcohol or substance abuse. You will help with daily living, participate in group activities, and support a safe, therapeutic environment in the unit.

Responsibilities include observing patients, communicating with the treatment team, and aiding in de-escalation while maintaining boundaries and confidentiality under HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR and CPI certification.
• Experience in mental health or recovery support preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Q30s and 1:1 observations per hospital standards.
• Identify patient needs and suggest treatment plan modifications.
• Co-facilitate didactic and community groups within the program.
• Communicate patient behavior to treatment team and RN/CD.
• Maintain safety and therapeutic environment in units.
• Orient new patients and assist with daily living activities.
