Job summary

Plum Creek Recovery Ranch is seeking a Recovery Support Staff member to assist clients in recovery from alcohol or substance abuse. You will help with daily living activities, therapeutic engagement, and socialization in a therapeutic unit.

Responsibilities include observing patients, participating in group therapy, and maintaining a safe environment under supervision. CPR/CPI certification is required, with HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and strong communication skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR and CPI certification.
• Experience in mental health/inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Q30s and 1:1 observations per hospital standards.
• Identify patient needs and help modify treatment plans.
• Co-facilitate groups and encourage patient participation.
• Report patient behavior to the treatment team.
• Take direction from RN or LVN; float to units as needed.
• Maintain safety and a clean, therapeutic environment.
• Assist with shift reports and patient transport supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
