Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating programs.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning with feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve learning outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development, delivery and evaluation.
• Undertake duties as directed by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and school events.
• Support school priorities and use student data to inform practice.
