Job summary

Manor Lakes P-12 College in Wyndham Vale seeks a classroom teacher to deliver high-quality learning programs aligned with our inclusive design and the college's Strategic Plan.

You will work within Professional Learning Teams, use data to inform teaching, and engage with families to support student learning, wellbeing and achievement across Year levels 1-12. The role includes collaboration, mentoring, and contributing to school policies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with families and colleagues.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to curriculum development and program delivery within the school.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related duties as required.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and school activities.
• Engaging in non-teaching supervisory duties as needed.
