Job summary

AECOM in Brisbane seeks an experienced Project Risk Manager to support effective risk management across a complex infrastructure portfolio for the Brisbane 2032 Games. You will embed risk management into planning and delivery and work with project teams.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in risk management or related fields, strong analytical skills, and proven experience with risk registers, workshops, and government or regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in risk management, project management, engineering, construction, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in project risk management across major infrastructure or complex delivery environments.
• Experience within government, statutory authorities or highly regulated environments.
• Proven capability in risk registers, risk assessments, treatment planning and facilitating risk workshops.
• Strong analytical skills to identify risks and changes in project exposure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, manage, monitor and report project risks across the lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain project risk registers with causes, consequences, risk ratings and owners.
• Plan and facilitate risk workshops and risk reviews with project teams.
• Integrate risk management with scope, schedule, cost, procurement and delivery.
• Develop practical risk treatments and monitor implementation and effectiveness.
• Escalate material risks into program and enterprise risk processes as needed.
• Prepare clear risk reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
• Apply GIICA Risk Management Framework and promote consistent practices.
