Job summary

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking a Projects & Approvals Officer to support engineering and operational teams in planning, coordinating and delivering road maintenance and infrastructure projects across the Tamworth Regional Council area.

You will manage documentation, budgets, contracts and reporting while working with engineers, supervisors and technical staff to deliver community infrastructure. A strong focus on project administration and stakeholder coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent.
• Experience supporting infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of contract administration and project management principles.
• Ability to research information and present findings clearly.
• Current Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support management and financial control of infrastructure projects and operations.
• Assist with budget reviews, estimating and capital works planning.
• Provide technical project support for road maintenance and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical and administrative assistance to stakeholders.
• Work independently with initiative and develop priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering and operational teams.
